1. Who This Policy Applies To
This Privacy Policy applies to Customers, End Users, and Website Visitors. When Brizy processes End User data on behalf of a Customer, the Customer acts as the Data Fiduciary or Data Controller and Brizy acts as the Data Processor. End Users should refer to the applicable Customer privacy policy for information about how the Customer handles their data.
2. Information We Collect
We may collect information you provide directly, such as your name, work email address, job title, company name, phone number, business address, account credentials, and communications you send to support. We also automatically collect website usage data such as IP address, browser type, operating system, device information, pages visited, time on page, referral URL, cookie data, and session data. When a Customer deploys the Brizy Insights agent, it may also collect monitoring data such as active application names, window titles, website URLs visited during work hours, productivity signals, screenshots if enabled, USB and peripheral activity, network access logs, endpoint security posture, and location data if the module is enabled.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use Customer and Website Visitor information to provision, maintain, and improve the Services, process transactions, respond to support requests, analyse usage trends, detect security incidents, comply with legal obligations, and send marketing communications where consent has been provided. We use End User data only to provide the contracted monitoring and governance features, generate productivity and security analytics on the Customer's behalf, and debug or improve the reliability of the agent software. We may also use de-identified and aggregated data that cannot identify any individual or organisation to improve service features and publish industry benchmarks.
4. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers that perform services on our behalf, when required by law or lawful request, in connection with a merger or acquisition, when needed to protect rights, property, or safety, or with your consent for another purpose.
5. Data Retention
We retain personal information as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services. Customers may configure data retention periods for End User monitoring data within the platform. After account termination, Customer account data is deleted or anonymised within 90 days, End User monitoring data is deleted in line with the Customer retention policy and no later than 90 days after contract end, and certain records may be retained longer where required by law or legitimate business needs.
6. Data Security
We implement technical and organisational safeguards including encryption in transit with TLS 1.2+ and mTLS for agent communication, encryption at rest, role-based access controls, multi-factor authentication for administrator accounts, regular penetration testing, audit logs, and dedicated VPC deployment with network-level isolation. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and if a breach affecting your information occurs we will notify you as required by law.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, restrict, or object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent for marketing communications. If Brizy processes your data on behalf of your employer, please direct rights requests to your employer. Under India's DPDP Act, Data Principals may also obtain information about processing, correct or erase personal data, and nominate a representative in the event of death or incapacity. 8. Cookies
